Koons Real Estate Law represents developers, investors, business owners, homebuilders, private schools and individuals in all aspects of zoning and land use matters throughout Texas. We work with our clients to guide them through the maze of governmental regulations to secure appropriate zoning and development entitlements for their properties. Whether seeking approvals from or negotiating with public officials and/or government staff, our goal is to provide creative and effective results while establishing and maintaining positive long-term relationships between our clients and the approving authorities. Condemnation/Eminent Domain Representation

In the event that a municipality, TxDOT, a pipeline company or any other condemning authority seeks to acquire all or a portion of our clients' land for public use, our firm works with the affected property owner to obtain the just compensation he or she is entitled to under the law. We work with and advise our clients from the time of the initial rumors of the governmental project, through the official offer by the condemning authority, negotiations and commissioners' hearings, and, if necessary, through appealing the commissioners' award and litigation.
